Job Description:
- Accurately complete customer transactions to ensure efficient service.
- Support sales team in delivering excellent customer service.
- Adhere to all company cash handling procedures.
- Prepare and distribute packing slips and invoices promptly.
- Generate documentation required for shipping and accounting purposes.
- Process goods receipts and enter data into the system accurately.
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
- Collect payments (cash and cheque) from delivery drivers.
- Print and review product orders across all company facilities.
- Receive and input faxed orders from sales representatives; generate packing slips for order picking.
- Create backorder invoices for any incomplete orders.
- Cross-check and verify shipped invoices against orders.
- Enter credit notes accurately into the computer system.
- Perform additional administrative or clerical duties as assigned.
Skill Requirements:
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
- Previous front-end or customer service experience is an asset, but not required
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Minimum keyboarding speed of 6,000 keystrokes per hour
- Proficient in numeric keypad data entry
- Ability to multitask, follow instructions, and meet deadlines
- Collaborative and dependable team player
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
