Operations Manager
Canmore, AB (Local Presence Required)
Full-Time | Start Date: TBD
Compensation: Based on Experience
The Collective is a bold and growing group of creative brands in weddings, events, and hospitality — including iconic venues, accommodations, planning, photography, florals, and rentals.
We’re hiring an Operations Manager to be our on-the-ground problem solver—the go-to person who keeps the day-to-day running smoothly across every corner of the business.
What This Role Really Looks Like
This is not a sit-behind-the-desk, admin-heavy role. You’ll be:
- Jumping between locations
- Handling logistics across teams
- Keeping staff accountable and schedules on track
- Making sure everything and everyone is where they need to be
You’ll work closely with our CEO and GM to take vision and turn it into execution—boots on the ground style.
Your Core Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Operational Support
- Be physically present and available across divisions: venues, rentals, florals, planning, photo, and accommodations
- Solve issues on the fly—no task too big or small
- Keep your finger on the pulse of what’s happening daily and anticipate needs
Multi-Team Scheduling & Staffing
- Build and manage schedules for teams, events, turnovers, deliveries, shoots, and more
- Ensure all departments are properly staffed and informed
- Coordinate floaters, weekend/event coverage, and seasonal workflow
Team Management Support
- Be a reliable, present point of contact for division managers and staff
- Lead by example—showing up, stepping in, and keeping things on track
- Help with onboarding, expectations, and internal accountability
- Internal Execution (Not Client-Facing)
- Execute plans and logistics—not sales, client meetings, or front-end work
- Keep things moving behind the scenes so our planners, creatives, and leads can shine
- Support implementation of systems and workflows (Honeybook, Hostaway, Google Drive, etc.)
You’re a Great Fit If You…
- Are a fast-moving, solutions-oriented doer
- Thrive on multi-tasking across teams, projects, and physical spaces
- Don’t mind rolling up your sleeves—whether it’s directing a delivery, fixing a timeline, or checking in with staff
- Love structure, systems, and seeing a to-do list actually get done
- Have 3–5 years in hospitality, events, or service-based operations
- Are based in or near Canmore, and available for in-person support as needed (especially weekends/events)
What You’ll Be a Part Of | The Collective includes:
Rocky Mountain Weddings
Rocky Mountain Elopements
Rocky Mountain Photo Co.
Alpine Blooms
Mainspace + The Gem

We’re building something big—and we need someone who can keep the machine running while the rest of the team creates magic.
