We are seeking an experienced and strategic Operations Manager to oversee and optimize all aspects of the Transformer business. This position is critical to ensuring efficiency, profitability and growth of the division. The successful candidate will have a solid knowledge of business operations and a background in electrical or mechanical engineering and management experience. This position will report directly to the CEO and play a key role in ensuring operational performance is aligned with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations and personnel of the Transformer business including marketing, sales growth, customer engagement, project delivery, quality control, logistics management and after-sales service.
- Serve as a key liaison between sales, engineering, logistics and project management.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that support growth, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and company policies.
- Identify business risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Support and align strategic business objectives by improving operational processes and business performance metrics.
- Provide regular operational updates and strategic advice to the CEO.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; MBA or equivalent business qualification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of operational management experience, preferably in the transformer or heavy electrical equipment industry.
- Ability to speak English and Mandarin required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and business growth.
- Ability to travel throughout the U.S. and Canada for face-to-face customer visits and trade shows.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience reporting to senior management.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
