TopEliteTeachers, the Canadian branch of TopOnlineTeachers, is hiring now for online English Writing and literature tutors. Students range from 9 to 12th grade in high school. Curriculum and lesson plans are provided. Hours are flexible but fixed week to week depending on available schedule of tutor. Our typical peak hours are 6 PM to 9 PM Beijing Time as well as during the day on weekends Beijing Time. Teachers are expected to have 8 or more hours of availability per week that they'd be open to taking on new students, and tutoring hours tend to accumulate gradually over time. Salary is $20-$30 CAD per hour of tutoring paid biweekly via e-transfer.
Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:
- Excellent English speaker with neutral accent
- Teaching certification is required (such as TESOL/TEFL/OCT etc.)
- Stable and strong internet connection
- Online Teaching Experience (Writing, literature, Etc.)
- Hold a BA degree or above (preferred)
