Position: Office Clerk
Location: Charlottetown, PE | Full-Time
Are you a detail-oriented multitasker with a passion for organization and numbers? Hansen Solar Energy Group is seeking a dynamic Office Clerk to support our administrative and financial operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with accounting professionals, operational managers, and front-office staff in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting Support
- Assist with general ledger reconciliation and financial recordkeeping
- Maintain vendor and customer records (digital and physical)
- Post and reconcile corporate credit card transactions and intercompany invoices
- Apply correct billing and accounting codes
- Handle sensitive financial documentation with discretion
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Process and verify vendor invoices using SAGE 50
- Reconcile AP subledger to general ledger
- Ensure proper approvals and resolve discrepancies
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment timelines
Accounts Receivable (AR) & Billing
- Generate accurate invoices based on project milestones
- Track receivables and follow up on outstanding payments
- Coordinate billing verification with project managers
- Address customer billing inquiries and ensure timely payments
Reception & Administration
- Serve as the primary front-desk contact
- Manage mail, courier deliveries, and incoming calls
- Coordinate calendars, meetings, and internal communications
- Maintain a professional and organized reception area
- Support scanning, filing, and document distribution

Skills & Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with SAGE 50 and HubSpot (CRM) is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a collaborative office setting
- Professional demeanor and customer service orientation
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
