Physiotherapy clinic in Brampton, Ontario looking for a full-time office administrator/PTA to join our exciting team of health professionals. This position requires an experienced candidate in the Physiotherapy Industry to provide a professional level of service to ensure that the highest degree of quality patient care/confidentiality is maintained at all times. Job Duties
- Acts as receptionist to greet and help patients in a professional, friendly, kind, helpful manner.
- Process assessments and scheduling of psychological, occupational therapy and chronic pain
- call patients for follow ups
- Performs scheduling duties.
- Completes WSIB, EHC and MVA paperwork
- Verify insurance on all new and existing patients.
- Maintains patient records and other department documentation, including, but not limited to, alphabetical filing, copying & mailing, scanning, clinical notes
- Maintains clinic organization including, vacuuming, stocking bedside supplies, laundry and general clinic cleaning duties.
- Provide assistance to physiotherapist as needed, PTA experience is an asset
Mandatory Availability
Monday-Friday 10 AM to 7:30 PM on some days
Mandatory Experience
1) MVA CLAIMS
2) EHC/WSIB Billing and Telus Health portal
3) Universal Scheduling
4) High School Degree
5) PTA Experience or background
6) Excellent written and verbal English skills as this job requires the use of emails and sending correspondence to external people.
7) Excellent knowledge and experience with Outlook, SharePoint, Excel and Word
