Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice while providing exceptional care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental assisting and familiarity with various dental software systems, enabling them to support both clinical and administrative tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Record patient medical histories and maintain accurate patient records.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize office efficiency.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a high standard of patient care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental assisting practices and procedures.
- Experience with dental software such as Curve is preferred.
- Knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics is a plus.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Ability to operate CAD (Computer-Aided Design) systems for dental applications is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate record keeping.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
