Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc. is looking to fill the position of Mountain Shuttle Driver at Fernie Alpine Resort. Reporting to the Vehicle Maintenance Manager, the ideal candidate(s) will be an excellent verbal communicator with a customer service orientation and enjoy working in a mountain environment. Our commitment is to create great memories for our guests and staff alike. Some of the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
You will:
- Offer and maintain a friendly and helpful disposition to all guests at all times
- Assist and up sell guests at every opportunity
- Ensure public and personal safety at all times
- Operate a 24-passenger bus during winter road conditions
- Perform guest service-related tasks upon request of the Director and General Manager
- Complete daily vehicle inspections including gas and oil checks/filling
- Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
- Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
- Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs
- Perform other tasks and duties that are applicable
You have:
- BC Class 2 Drivers License and/or Unrestricted Class 4 Drivers License.
- Willingness to work early morning and evening shifts
- A positive, friendly personality with a willingness to engage guests
- The ability to understands smart guest relations
- Reliable transportation for variable shift starts
- The skills to be safety orientated, reliable, and an independent worker
Compensation and Benefits:
