Mill Operator
Wetaskiwin Co-op and Country Junction Feeds is now accepting applications for the temporary position of Mill Operator, working out of our Canadian Nurs-ette facility, located just outside of Camrose, Alberta.

We operate in a variety of product lines including consumer hardware, building products, crop inputs, petroleum, liquor and feed manufacturing. What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Lead Hand, the Mill Operator is a self-motivated individual who has strong attention to detail. Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Operate and monitor all feed mill equipment, including bagging machinery, to produce animal feed in a safe and timely manner, that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Regularly bending, twisting, pulling, pushing and lifting up to 55 pounds.
- Accurately measure and blend ingredients according to specific formulations.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to ensure products conform to company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Load finished feed products onto pallets and trucks for delivery.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate production records, inventory logs, and maintenance reports.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and team leaders to ensure smooth operations and meet production deadlines.
- Following safety and housekeeping standards, policies, and procedures, and complying with all regulatory requirements.
Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Production, Trades and Maintenance and:
- You have a willingness to be coached and to learn.
- You have the ability to perform repetitive physical bending, twisting, pulling, pushing and lifting upwards of 55 pounds.
- Previous experience working in a feed mill or other manufacturing environment is preferred.
- You have the ability to follow procedures with minimal supervision.
- You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
