We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our team. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, proficiency with electronic medical records, and the ability to manage front desk operations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and address patient inquiries.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure patient information is up-to-date.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate efficient patient care.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the office.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using multi-line phone systems for efficient communication.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

Pay: $18.50-$25.50 per hour
