Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly at the front desk, ensuring a positive first impression of the office.
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and address patient inquiries effectively.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Process patient information and insurance claims efficiently while adhering to confidentiality standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate patient care and ensure timely communication regarding appointments and treatment plans.
- Provide support in medical office settings, utilizing knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized office environment to enhance patient experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems (OSCAR Emr) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
- Proven administrative experience with front desk responsibilities in an office environment is required.
