We are currently looking to fill the role for an MOA at our office at the Old Scona Medical Centre.
We are looking for someone who is available on Saturdays and Sundays, between 9:30-5:30, as well as during the week until 8 pm.

Your Opportunity: As a Medical Office Assistant, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for managing and maintaining positive, multi-faceted relationships with patients and medical clinics throughout Alberta.
Job Duties:
- Greeting all patients, and ensuring 'excellent customer service is maintained
- Creating and maintaining up-to-date patient charts
- Working closely with one physician
- Sanitization of waiting rooms, exam rooms, and work space
- Maintaining patient confidentiality
- and other administrative duties as assigned
Your Skills:
- High school diploma or GED
- Medical Office Assistant Diploma or Unit Clerk Certificate - a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience with EMR system(s) a plus
- Be able to type 40 words per Min
- Excellent customer service with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
