We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Office and Procedural Assistant to join our team. The Clinic specializes in Infant Circumcisions, Vasectomies, and Men’s Sexual Health procedures.
The successful applicant will join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals and will be supporting the patient experience from first contact with the clinic to post-procedural care.
The position reports directly to the Program and Operations Manager of the Clinic and works with other MOA’s, Nursing and Administrative Staff.
Responsibilities will include:
- Medical Office administration including interacting, booking and scheduling patients for appointments
- Working with Electronic Medical Records - Accuro QHR
- Ordering medical and surgical supplies, record keeping and stocking
- Assist the surgeon in performing surgical procedures
- Maintain a sterile field and follow proper infection control protocols
- Provide direct support to the surgical team as needed
- Room set up and instrument processing for various surgical and treatment procedures
- Post-treatment cleanup
- Review post-treatment instructions with patients
- Other tasks related to the Program as assigned
Qualifications and Competencies – Required:
- Previous Medical Office administrative experience preferred
- Previous experience in procedural assisting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain the strictest standards of patient privacy and confidentiality
- Experience in customer service in a medical setting
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills, including tact, diplomacy, and schedule flexibility
- Ability to work effectively with Physicians, Nurses, MOA’s, and our patients
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 per week
