Master Data & EDI Manager
The Master Data & EDI Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of critical business data across enterprise systems. This role supports the organization’s operational efficiency by managing master data processes, maintaining data standards, and overseeing electronic data interchange (EDI) activities. The Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement data governance best practices, resolve data-related issues, and support system integrations. By maintaining high-quality data and seamless digital transactions, this position plays a key role in enabling informed decision-making and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Master Data Management Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily customer and material setup requests via SharePoint, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Maintain and update master data in SAP, guaranteeing data is consistent, secure, and reliable.
- Review and approve product labels to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Manage and safeguard critical business data records including data audits.
- Maintain GS1 standards and ensure alignment with industry requirements.
- Keep process documentation current and clear for team-wide reference.
- Collaborate to define and enhance data governance policies, business rules, and workflows.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Management Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the EDI platform, ensuring seamless data exchange.
- Set up new customers on EDI and configure integrations to meet business needs.
- Implement mapping changes driven by customer requirements or internal process updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve failed orders in SAP/EDI, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Master Data Management and/or EDI operations, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP (MDG, MM, SD modules preferred).
- Experience with EDI platforms and standards.
- Familiarity with GS1 standards and product labeling requirements.
- Strong Excel skills; experience with SharePoint and data visualization tools is a plus.
