In this role, you'll strengthen our brand, sharpen our messaging, and support both customer and employee engagement. This role combines creative content development with hands-on coordination across all areas of marketing—from social media and trade shows to recruitment campaigns, employer value proposition, and internal communication.
This is a dynamic, multi-functional position that requires someone who can think strategically, act creatively, and execute consistently. You’ll work closely with Sales and Human Resources to ensure the Horst brand remains strong, recognizable, and aligned with our core values across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities
- Create, schedule, and manage content across social media platforms
- Capture and edit photos and videos of projects, people, and events
- Design internal and external marketing materials (posters, brochures, signage)
- Manage branded clothing program (ordering, inventory, and alignment with brand standards)
- Maintain and update website content (text, photos, events, careers page, etc.)
- Support recruitment and employer branding efforts (e.g., job fair displays, hiring ads, branded materials, EVP)
- Develop and support internal HR campaigns (onboarding, culture initiatives, employee recognition)
- Coordinate trade shows and special projects (booth setup, signage, promotional items)
- Ensure all marketing materials align with Horst branding guidelines and values
- Collaborate with HR and Sales teams to support company-wide communication and branding efforts
- Other duties as needed.
What You Bring
Education & Certifications
- Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, design, or a related field
- Digital marketing certification or drone license (considered an asset, not required)
- Valid driver’s license (required)
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)
- Experience using social media scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite)
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp)
- Photography and videography (including basic editing)
- Canva, survey tools (MS Forms, Typeform), and analytics platforms
