SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Marketing Coordinator reports directly to the Marketing Director and is responsible for supporting management and execution of all marketing efforts. This role will coordinate and assist with the marketing activities and initiatives of four of our brands. The Marketing Coordinator will support the Marketing Manager and Marketing Director with administrative duties, program execution, and local store marketing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Support marketing team with coordination of planning workflows, updating marketing calendars, status documents, and tools.
- Work with the marketing team to develop and implement social media, menu management, media, and digital marketing initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with franchisees, Operations, and the marketing team to identify and develop local store marketing tactics and toolkits.
- Partner with Media Solutions and the marketing team on creative request management from briefing through approvals.
- Provide social media support including photoshoots coordination, content calendar review, and promoted posts workflow.
- Process invoices and assist the marketing team with budget management tools.
- Manage multiple system-wide support efforts and services including limited time offers, new menus, loyalty, local store marketing, off-premise partners, and grand openings.
- Partner internally and externally to set up and maintain listings with Google, third party aggregators, websites, etc.
- Lead the development of a consolidated reporting system to gather industry information, marketing trends, competitor activity, etc.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Degree/diploma in Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years administrative, project management, or agency experience required
- 1 year marketing experience preferred.
- Experience in the food industry or a franchise environment is an asset
- Strong English language skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven success in collaboration, influence, and negotiation with cross-functional teams to develop and launch projects
- Strong project management and organizational skills with proven problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work on tight deadlines in a fast-paced, team environment
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office365
- Experience managing digital and social media marketing campaigns including SEO
- Experience with Google Ads and Google Analytics considered a strong asset
- Bilingual (French, written and verbal) is a strong asset
- Experience with Wrike project management software would be a bonus
