The Manager, Strategy supports a small team in the development of strategies and analysis of strategic problems in the Digital Investing business. This role will have high exposure to the business' leadership team while supporting projects and working teams of various sizes, potentially composed of resources from various business groups and functions across BMO. The Manager supports projects by developing a fact base, identifying high-value issues, surfacing strategic options, conducting key analyses, forming recommendations, developing key performance indicators (KPIs), and helping management teams reach consensus.
The Manager is also responsible for supporting the delivery of performance insights for the business.
- Breaks down strategic problems and analyzes data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
- Applies expertise and thinks creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to problems that can be complex and non-routine.
- Defines business requirements for analytics and reporting to ensure data insights inform business decision making.
- Effectively communicates key messages / recommendations as a trusted advisor to the business' leadership team.
- Establishes working relationships within business groups and other corporate functions.
- Ensures alignment between values and behaviour that fosters diversity and inclusion.
- Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience working for a strategy consulting firm or in an equivalent internal strategy team environment is required.
- Typically 3+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary:
$75,900.00 - $141,900.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
