Machine Operator, CNC
Reports to
Plant Manager
Summary
Efficiently and accurately create quality machined parts for standard and custom fixtures and machine tooling according to drawings provided by engineering and customer specifications within the timeline required.
Job Duties
- Follow work schedules, assignment, and production sequences to meet deadlines as required.
- Ensure part counts are accurate; boxes marked with the part number and count.
- Required to be able to be able to set up and operate machinery on factory premises, as required.
- Inspect manufactured parts and provide technical guidance to ensure the finished part is in line with specifications and quality standards.
- Set up and operate all machines in manufacturing department as required
- Ensuring engineering drawers are accurately read and interpreted to ensure work if preformed accurately.
- Adhere to company 5S guidelines
- Escalate stock issues as needed, when effecting production
- Track and record all cut-off material and escalate as needed to ensure proper communication to Planning, Engineering and Purchasing Department.
- Provide assistance as needed with repair, modification, maintenance, improvement and troubleshooting on all plant machinery and equipment, tools and facility to ensure safe operation of equipment.
- Report and escalate any safety concerns in a timely manner
- Complete housekeeping duties to maintain the Warehouse and office space in a clean, tidy and safe condition
- Adhere to the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safety guarding and general safe working practices
- Wear proper safety equipment and follow safe working practice
Working Conditions
- Work is performed in a combination of environments
- Ability to lift or move up to 50lbs when requested
- Overtime as required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
