Wilderness North is an adventure tourism operator based in Amstrong, Ontario. Through our fly-in properties along the Albany and Ogoki River watersheds, we offer a variety of exceptional outdoor-centered guest experiences, from traditional fishing trips to adventure tourism. We cater to many different types of guests, all looking for a relaxing stay in the wilderness. We seek upbeat, outgoing, and motivated individuals to serve as housekeepers/servers at our remote full-service lodges.

Housekeepers/servers work together with a team of five or six other lodge staff to ensure an exceptional experience for our guests. As this is a customer service-oriented position, Housekeepers/servers must always be well-groomed, professional, and courteous to staff and guests. Daily housekeeping/maid service involves mopping/vacuuming cabin floors, cleaning bathrooms and refilling toiletries, wash dishes , handle laundry and sanitizing countertops, making beds, collecting garbage and sorting recycling refuse in proper bins, polishing kitchen appliances, and laundry service for all linens and staff clothing. Meal service may include delivering coffee to guest rooms in the early morning, setting dining room tables appropriately for meals, waiting on tables (breakfast & dinner), helping to make sandwiches and put together shore lunch kits, and offering assistance when required.

Candidates should maintain a positive attitude under pressure and exhibit a strong work ethic. The position requires initiative, creativity, flexibility, willingness to take on multiple tasks, and the ability to cheerfully deal with the unexpected. Candidates must think on their feet and be expected to problem-solve and adapt creatively to changing conditions—a valid First Aid certificate .

Positions run May through September 2025 Candidates must be able to live and work in a wilderness environment as part of a close-knit team. Competitive starting salaries are based on experience and are in addition to room & board.
