Legal Assistant Duties
- File and organize legal documents, correspondence, and case records
- Provide administrative and organisational support to lawyer(s).
- Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain case management systems
- Assist in drafting and proofreading legal documents
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings
- Prepare and distribute legal correspondence and documents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Legal Administrative Diploma is ideal
- Experience with EsiLaw (Unity) and/or NetDocs is an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal software applications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
- Current resident of Calgary, AB or surrounding areas
Job Type
- Full-time, Monday to Friday.
- In office work with some hybrid flexibility.
