Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality meals to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and preparation.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
- Execute meal preparation according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in cooking and plating dishes as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to assist others in the kitchen.
- A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new skills in the culinary field.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.80-$22.71 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
