## Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our restaurant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for meal preparation, food service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety in the kitchen.
## Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in prepping ingredients such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces
- Ensure all food products are handled, stored, and prepared safely and in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen work environment
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient food production
- Monitor food levels and replenish supplies as needed
- Follow proper sanitation procedures for equipment and work areas
## Experience
- Prior experience working in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods is beneficial
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
