We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations.
- Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines while working in the kitchen environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques in meal preparation.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
