Overview
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure safe food handling practices.
- Collaborate with restaurant team to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
- Participate in menu planning and development as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service industry is mandatory.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in meal preparation.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques.
