Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and cooking equipment.
- Follow food handling and safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food service.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a cook or in food service is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety regulations is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures is a plus.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed in the kitchen environment.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
