We are looking for people who are passionate about food and the restaurant business. Our chef is willing to train those currently enrolled in a culinary program at a community college.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure proper food handling and safety practices are followed at all times.
- Assist in meal preparation and presentation to maintain high-quality service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food service areas.
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service and dining experiences.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices
- Ability to efficiently prepare meals while maintaining high standards of quality
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in serving food and providing exceptional customer service
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
