We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in food preparation and meal service, ensuring that every dish meets our standards of excellence.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.
- Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process to ensure consistency.
Skills
- Experience in food service or the food industry is required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Proficient in meal preparation techniques, including chopping, grilling, frying, and baking.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
