We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Line Cook to join our kitchen team and help elevate the culinary experience for our guests.
Job Overview:
As the Lead Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency across all dishes. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of line cooks, collaborating with the chef, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. You must have a strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team, ensuring proper food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Manage multiple stations, including sauté, grill, pasta, and prep.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create and execute daily and seasonal menu items.
- Maintain food quality standards, ensuring every dish is executed perfectly.
- Train, mentor, and motivate junior line cooks to elevate their skills and productivity.
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety regulations.
- Assist in ordering and inventory management, ensuring kitchen supplies are well-stocked.
- Troubleshoot and resolve kitchen challenges quickly and efficiently.
- Assist with menu planning, recipe development, and special event coordination.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant.
- Proven leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
- Strong understanding of Italian cuisine, techniques, and ingredients.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive attitude and strong communication skills.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 44 per week
