Fridman & Company is looking for a legal assistant to join our team in our busy immigration law practice. Our assistants work with us in the following ways:
- Communicating with clients to gather information and documentation
- Assisting with writing legal correspondence
- Assisting with preparation of legal forms
- Assisting with drafting affidavits
- Preparing immigration applications
- Preparing court materials for submissions
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Excellent English writing skills
- Working knowledge of another language (speaking and writing) a plus
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Cultural sensitivity
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in the legal assistant/law clerk field
