Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, or other specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines, such as cleaning and lubricating
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues or malfunctions
- Inspect finished workpieces for quality and accuracy, using precision measuring instruments
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop and improve machining processes
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques, including milling, drilling, and turning
- Experience with Manual Lathe & Milling Machines
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and dimensions
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Forklift operation experience is a plus

Pay: $17.20-$23.00 per hour
