Crown Traffic Management Ltd. is a locally operated traffic control company serving British Columbia with a focus on safety, teamwork, and excellence. We are currently hiring motivated and detail-oriented Lane Closure Technicians to join our growing team in Victoria.
Job Responsibilities
As a Lane Closure Technician, you will:
- Safely load, transport, set up, and remove traffic control equipment
- Implement lane closures and traffic diversions according to MOTI standards
- Read and follow traffic control plans
- Ensure all signage, cones, and barriers are properly placed and secured
- Perform regular equipment checks and maintenance
- Work closely with Traffic Control Persons (TCPs) and Supervisors to ensure safe site setups
Requirements
✅ Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License (clean abstract preferred)
✅ Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs
✅ Strong understanding of traffic control and safety protocols
✅ Willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends
✅ Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
✅️Previous experience in traffic control
✅️Understanding of MOTI lane closure standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.50-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
Work Location: On the road
