Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hygiene Manager to oversee the hygiene department within our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care and hygiene practices. This role requires a strong background in dental , excellent customer service skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team while fostering a positive environment for both staff and patients.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the hygiene department to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain compliance with all health regulations and standards, ensuring that all hygiene protocols are followed.
- Manage patient scheduling and ensure timely delivery of services while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Utilize Dentrix software for patient management, record keeping, and appointment scheduling.
- Assist in the development of educational materials for patients regarding oral hygiene practices.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple tasks effectively.

Pay: $24.00-$34.00 per hour
