Landscape Maintenance Technician
Location: Parksville, BC (Vancouver Island service area)
Schedule: Full-time, Seasonal (April - Nov)
Pay: $23–$28 / hour (depending on experience)

Your Role
As a Landscape Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping properties looking their best through regular care and attention to detail. You will:
- Perform garden bed maintenance: weeding, pruning, deadheading, soil refreshing, and mulch touch-ups
- Clean and maintain hardscape areas, pathways, and patios (sweeping, leaf blowing, power washing)
- Conduct seasonal cleanups: spring/fall bed care, leaf removal, storm debris clearance
- Monitor plant health, identify pest/disease issues, and suggest improvements to site aesthetics
- Support small install jobs: planting, edging, sod repairs, and seasonal color changes
- Maintain your tools, keep your truck clean, and contribute to a safe, professional jobsite
You Bring
- Experience in landscaping, gardening, or grounds maintenance (1+ year preferred)
- Solid plant knowledge (perennials, shrubs, native species) or a willingness to learn
- A keen eye for detail and pride in keeping properties clean and well-kept
- Physical stamina: able to lift 50 lbs, work in all weather, and stay energized on the move
- Basic mechanical aptitude to clean and troubleshoot small equipment
- A reliable work ethic and valid driver’s license (preferred but not required)
