Your Role as Landscape Construction Foreman/Supervisor: In this role, you will oversee the on-site aspects of landscape construction projects, including:
- Coordinating project execution, equipment needs, and material deliveries.
- Ensuring safety, quality, and productivity on-site.
- Supervising the landscape construction crew’s day-to-day activities.
- Training and guiding landscape laborers, with efficient task delegation.
- Conducting on-site safety orientations and adhering to best practices.
- Operating various equipment (heavy machinery, chainsaws, etc.).
- Assisting with construction of features like walkways, walls, and decks.
- Precisely installing plants as specified in project plans.
- Performing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Reading blueprints and managing subcontractor quality and deadlines.
- Completing and submitting required paperwork digitally.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience in landscape or construction.
- Proven ability to operate tools and equipment safely.
- Strong communication skills, time management, and blueprint reading.
- Valid driver’s license, with proficiency in English.
- Ability to use a smartphone or data-enabled device for communication and reporting.
