Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Kinesiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting physical health and wellness through movement and exercise. This role involves working with clients to take subjective report, establish and strengthen rapport with patients, implement therapeutic exercise programs and movement/stretch therapy, and provide guidance on injury prevention and rehabilitation. As a Kinesiologist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals through tailored fitness solutions.
Duties
- Implement individualized exercise/movement therapy/stretch therapy plans based on assessment results and client goals.
- Special interest in pain/concussion management is a bonus
- Maintain the facility and patient treatment rooms in organized, clean manner.
- Educate clients on proper exercise techniques and safety measures to prevent injuries.
- Monitor client progress and conference with physiotherapy and chiropractic to adjust programs as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients recovering from injuries or managing chronic conditions.
- Lead group fitness classes or workshops as needed, promoting community engagement in health and wellness activities.
- Stay updated on the latest research in kinesiology and related fields to enhance service offerings.
Experience
- A degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field is required.
- Certification from a recognized professional organization (e.g., ACSM, NSCA) is preferred.
- Previous experience working with diverse populations, including athletes, seniors, or individuals with disabilities is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate and motivate clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.23-$25.04 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
