Role and Responsibilities

• Handling a book of business of small business accounts up to $20K in premium.

• Responsible for up-selling and cross-selling initiatives on book of business.

• Maintain up-to-date awareness of renewals and account receivables on a monthly basis.

• Collaborate with clients to identify and implement insurance solutions tailored to their evolving needs.

• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with insurance underwriters.

• Effectively plan and execute daily tasks in accordance with specified deadlines.

• Ensure consistent adherence to Commercial Lines Standard Operating Procedures.

• Live the “ROCKiT” Values of isure.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial insurance, specifically in property/casualty and commercial automobile.

• RIBO Licensed (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) required.

• Designations such as CAIB, CIP, or CRM are considered an asset.

SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently.

• Strong numerical, analytical and organizational skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and innovatively.

• Working knowledge of Vertafore SIGXP and general proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
