We’re looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our Edmonton based team, who’s not just here to “fix stuff” but to actively support users, improve systems, and make daily work easier across our North American operations. This role is ideal for someone who’s comfortable diving into the unknown, juggling multiple vendors, and providing top-tier remote and on-site support.
The successful candidate will be expected to do the following:
- Active Helpdesk Ticket (user/desktop support) and MSP / Vendor Interaction
- Windows Desktop Support and Administration (Windows 7 - 11)
- Windows Server / Active Directory / Group Policy. (Server 2012 - 2025)
- Configuring and repairing printers, copiers, and similar, working with printing software & print servers.
- Familiarity with managing server hardware / datacenters / racks.
- A working knowledge of basic network fundamentals, including DHCP, DNS, Routing/Firewalls, Wi-Fi, and VLAN/Subnet Configuration.
- Microsoft 365 experience
- On-premises to cloud migrations, tenant to tenant migrations
- Multi-Tenant/B2B sharing environments.
- SharePoint management, site design
- Power apps/power automate.
- Basic familiarity with Exchange online email flow/administration
- MS Office Suite Support
- Windows scripting and automation.
- Support and implementation of VOIP and/or cloud Phone Systems
- Experience with Cisco / WebEx is preferred.
Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and characteristics:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Support experience within ITAR Registered environments
- Autodesk Fusion / Inventor
- Adobe Suite of Applications
- Time Tracking / Job Software
- ERP Platforms (Microsoft Business Central and others)
- Reporting Experience, Power BI or other reporting platforms
- Demonstrated knowledge of virtualization, preferably Hyper-V
- Experience in an IT MSP or a Support as a Service Environment
- Familiarity with IT Ticketing Systems
- Enterprise backup experience
- Linux administration experience
- PostgreSQL
- Virtualized, mostly Debian environment
- Container Management/DevOps
Experience with, or support of the following is ideal:
- Autodesk Fusion / Inventor
- Adobe Suite of Applications
- Time Tracking / Job Software
- ERP Platforms (Microsoft Business Central and others)
- Reporting Experience, Power BI or other reporting platforms
