We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time IT Manager-Banner Support to join our IT team in Langley, BC.
Reporting to the Director, Manufacturing Business Solutions you will be responsible for leading IT operations, strategy, and support for a diverse portfolio of Pattison Food Group business units. you will provide hands-on leadership to ensure operational stability, project delivery, security alignment, and infrastructure optimization, while building strong relationships across autonomous and centrally supported environments.
Reporting to the Director, Manufacturing Business Solutions you will be responsible for leading IT operations, strategy, and support for a diverse portfolio of Pattison Food Group business units. you will provide hands-on leadership to ensure operational stability, project delivery, security alignment, and infrastructure optimization, while building strong relationships across autonomous and centrally supported environments.
You will be responsible for:
- Defining and executing IT strategies for assigned banners in alignment with business goals and overall Pattison Food Group IT direction.
- Acting as the senior IT leader for supported banners, translating business needs into actionable technology plans.
- Providing regular IT performance, project, security, and roadmap updates to banner leadership.
- Leading internal IT staff, including performance reviews, coaching, and team development.
- Overseeing third-party vendors and managed service providers, including performance evaluation.
- Ensuring infrastructure reliability, help desk effectiveness, and timely incident resolution.
- Managing hardware/software lifecycle, licensing compliance, and refresh schedules.
- Coordinating major IT projects, including ERP, infrastructure, and application upgrades.
- Developing and managing IT budgets, capital planning, and cost-benefit recommendations.
- Ensuring compliance with IT security standards, tools, and audit requirements.
- Leading disaster recovery and business continuity planning efforts.
- Identifying IT-related risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Promoting standardization, knowledge sharing, and innovative solutions (e.g., RPA, AI, automation).
- Evaluating opportunities for system consolidation and leading harmonization initiatives.
You have:
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer Science, or related field.
- 5 to 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including team leadership, project management, and budget oversight.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Business Central), cybersecurity, and business process automation.
- Proven ability to manage multi-site/multi-business-unit environments and vendor relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to align IT strategy with evolving business priorities.
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., pharmaceutical, liquor, food safety), ERP transformations, Microsoft Azure, and compliance frameworks such as PCI or Health Canada is an asset.

$114,220.00 - $152,293.00
The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience and other factors.
