Job Description
Our Early Investor Internship Program offers the opportunity to build skills, gain exposure to global markets, and work alongside some of the industry’s most accomplished investors. As an Intern, you will join one of our investment teams in Active Equities, Capital Markets & Factor Investing, Credit Investments, Real Assets, or Total Fund Management, contributing to meaningful, high-impact projects while developing your technical and analytical capabilities.
Your summer begins with Intern Orientation, where you’ll connect with peers, explore our culture, and gain insight into our strategies through company-wide departmental overviews. You’ll also have the chance to engage with senior leadership, advance your knowledge through skills-based training, and apply what you learn in stimulating on-the-job assignments.
In addition to your core work, you’ll take part in signature summer programming such as our Intern Case Competition and Speaker Series. We encourage you to bring your full self to work, take advantage of every learning opportunity, and build relationships that will support your career growth.
This internship is also a direct pipeline to the full-time Early Investor Program, offering high-performing interns the opportunity to return and launch their careers with us after graduation.
Overview of Participating Departments
Each investment department offers a distinct path to expertise, career growth, and impact. You will join one team, gain deep asset-class knowledge, and work on high-impact projects with early responsibility and exceptional mentorship.
Active Equities North America uses deep fundamental research to identify high-conviction public equity opportunities. Analysts collaborate with experienced investors to generate insights and turn them into actionable strategies.
Capital Markets & Factor Investing manages a global portfolio of externally managed and systematic strategies, including hedge funds, across asset classes. The team partners with top investment managers build diversified portfolios that capture differentiated returns and drive long-term performance.
Credit Investments delivers capital solutions across the credit spectrum, combining return potential with disciplined risk management. Analysts gain exposure to diverse sectors and geographies while building a strong understanding of global credit markets.
Real Assets invest in infrastructure, sustainable energy, and real estate, creating long-term value through ownership of essential assets that support communities and economies. Analysts work on transactions and initiatives with a tangible, lasting impact.
Total Fund Management shapes portfolio construction, capital allocation, and liquidity decisions for the enterprise. Interns gain a whole-fund perspective, learning how investments across asset classes connect to manage risk, capture opportunities, and drive long-term performance.
Your Role, Responsibilities, and Impact
- Contribute to research and evaluation of industries, companies, and securities, including assessing fundamentals and market positioning.
- Assist in valuation analysis of companies, assets, and/or securities to help identify potential risks and returns.
- Support due diligence or asset management efforts by gathering and analyzing information on financial performance, market and industry dynamics, and other key investment considerations.
- Help build and update financial models to evaluate investment positions or opportunities.
- Provide analytical support in the investment process, collaborating with the team to prepare investment reviews and market overviews.
- Research investment positions or new opportunities in markets across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
- Apply statistical and qualitative analysis to strengthen investment insights.
- Analyze macroeconomic trends and prepare summaries that inform investment perspectives.
- Assist in developing and maintaining proprietary and other information sources that support investment research.
Qualifications
Eligible Candidates
Candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate program and returning to school in Fall 2026 to be eligible to apply. We seek individuals with a proven record of academic excellence balanced with extracurricular involvement and leadership experience. Strong candidates bring skills in financial modeling, valuation, and analytics, as well as effective communication and the ability to build strong relationships. The most successful interns combine energy, enthusiasm, and intellectual curiosity with a genuine passion for investing.
