What Will You Do?
As a Commercial Producer, you'll:
- Drive business development by prospecting, generating leads, and converting new commercial clients
- Assess insurance needs, identify coverage gaps, and recommend tailored commercial insurance solutions
- Market risks to insurers, negotiate terms, and secure competitive coverage and pricing
- Provide proactive service including coverage guidance, endorsements, claims coordination, and timely communication
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across various industries while collaborating with internal service teams to deliver seamless service
- Stay informed on market trends, insurer appetites, and product changes to best advise clients
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance using Applied Systems (Epic) and internal workflows
Core Requirements
To be successful in this role, our minimum requirements are:
- A level 2 Alberta Insurance Licence or above
- 1 year of experience as a commercial insurance broker
Beneficial Skills
Your success in this role will be enhanced if you have:
- Additional insurance licences and/or relevant experience
- Experience with Applied Systems (Epic)
- Proficiency in insurance company portals
