I See Optometry was established as an independent clinic in 1919 in the heart of the Ottawa ByWard Market. Our team of experienced Optometrists, Opticians and support staff is passionate about improving the lives of our patients through quality vision care and exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Oversee talent acquisition processes to attract and retain top talent.
- Manage employee orientation and onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
- Administer HR-related documents, including policies and procedures
- Facilitate performance management processes, including employee evaluations and feedback mechanisms.
- Lead training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Handle conflict management and employee relations issues effectively.
- Manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Implement succession planning strategies to develop future leaders within the organization.
- Support clinic leadership with workforce planning and HR reporting
Skills
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, FMLA, OSHA regulations, and workers' compensation.
- Proficient in HR sourcing techniques and talent management strategies.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and organizational development.
- Familiarity with various HR software systems such as Paychex, Dayforce, Kronos, UltiPro, Taleo, SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, ATS solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction at all levels of the organization.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
