About the role:
As a Human Resources Associate at Estateably, you’ll have the opportunity to get hands-on experience across all areas of HR. You’ll work closely with the HR Manager to keep our HR operations running smoothly and support our positive employee experience at every stage. What you can expect:
- Partner with the HR Manager to maintain efficient workflows across all HR functions.
- Ensure employee files are organized, up to date, and securely stored in compliance with record-keeping standards.
- Maintain employee data in the HRIS platform, managing updates across the employee lifecycle.
- Assist with hiring activities by screening resumes, scheduling interviews, coordinating communication with candidates, and preparing offer letters.
- Reconcile health benefit invoices with payroll deductions and ensure accuracy in monthly reporting.
- Support performance review cycles, including scheduling, employee communication, and system updates.
- Respond to employee questions, escalate concerns when necessary, and contribute to a supportive work environment.
- Assist in documenting HR processes and identifying areas for optimization and clarity.
- Compile and organize data for internal reports and dashboards to track HR metrics.
- Manage office supply needs and contribute to the day-to-day operational needs of the team.
- Help plan and execute team-building events, celebrations, and initiatives to enhance employee engagement.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives and ad hoc projects led by the HR team.

Please note that this position requires advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal, to be able to provide support to our team members from provinces outside of Quebec and in the US. This role is intended for candidates based in the Greater Montreal area. While the position is primarily remote, you must be available to work from our Montreal office one day per week.Eligibility RequirementThis position is offered through the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS). To be considered, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the job placement
- Be a post-secondary graduate
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have been granted refugee status in Canada
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada according to the applicable provincial legislation and regulations
- Be a first-time participant in a Youth Employment and Skills Strategy work experience program targeted at post-secondary graduates
