EHS services are available for cats and dogs and we offer on-site sheltering and adoption as well as off-site fostering for special needs animals. Position Overview: We are seeking an HR Coordinator to assist our HR team with various tasks and projects. This unpaid volunteer role requires a commitment of 5-10 hours per week and provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the animal welfare sector.
Key Responsibilities:
● Coordinate volunteer recruitment efforts, including posting opportunities and scheduling interviews. ● Intake and triage HR inquiries from different teams to appropriate HR team members.
● Organize training sessions, meetings, and HR events for volunteers.
● Manage and update volunteer databases and HR records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. ● Help draft HR policies and communication materials.
● Assist with onboarding and orientation programs to support new volunteers.
● Collaborate with the other HR team members to improve HR processes and volunteer engagement initiatives.
Qualifications:
● Experience or interest in HR, administration, or volunteer coordination.
● Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ● A proactive and positive attitude.
● Enthusiasm for animal welfare and working in a collaborative, volunteer-driven environment.
