House Helper/Manager/Occasional Childcare
Full-time or Part-time
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive House Helper/Manager to support two private households with a variety of domestic and family-related tasks. This role requires someone who enjoys creating a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment while managing daily household operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Household Management & Cleaning
Light cleaning, general tidying, and housekeeping.
Maintain organization throughout the home, including closets, storage areas, and shared spaces.
Kids’ closet and toy rotation to maintain an organized play and living space.
Take initiative and a proactive approach in identifying and completing household needs (e.g., cleaning out the fridge, organizing cupboards, decluttering).
Meal Preparation
Prepare family meals and snacks.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and manage food inventory.
Errands & Administrative Support
Grocery shopping or placing online orders.
Handle returns and exchanges.
Light administrative household tasks.
Child-related Support
Assist with clothing organization and seasonal swaps.
Occasional childcare support (with notice).
Schedule & Hours
Full-Time Option: 40 hours per week.
1 day at one household (friend’s home)
4 days at another household.
Occasional evenings and weekends (advance notice will be provided).
Child : Four-year-old boy
Part-Time: 3 days per week.
Occasional evenings and weekends (advance notice will be provided).
Ideal Candidate
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
Trustworthy with strong discretion and respect for privacy.
Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Takes initiative and thinks ahead to keep household operations running smoothly.
Previous experience in household management, housekeeping, or childcare preferred.
Location: Forrest Heights community in Edmonton.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
