We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight shift. This position involves managing front desk operations, performing nightly financial reconciliations, and providing exceptional service to guests. Duties
- Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in all reports.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs for guests.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the night.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and occupancy.
- Prepare daily financial reports for management review.
- Ensure the security of the hotel by monitoring surveillance systems and conducting regular property checks.
- Provide assistance to guests with special requests or needs during their stay.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred, especially in front desk operations or auditing roles.
- Strong numerical skills with an ability to perform basic accounting functions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while managing multiple tasks effectively.
