Job Summary
The Hotel Maintenance is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of all hotel facilities and equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a safe environment for both guests and staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities, including plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and mechanical equipment.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
- Conduct inspections of hotel facilities to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs promptly while minimizing disruption to guests.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory of supplies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all maintenance activities.
- Must be available AM, PM , weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field; supervisory experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and understanding schematics related to electrical systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in general constuction.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
