We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Support to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring excellent guest experiences. This role requires strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality, making it essential for maintaining the high standards of service that our establishment is known for.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize flow and minimize wait times.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Utilize the POS system to manage guest seating and track reservations effectively.
Skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong phone etiquette to handle reservations and guest inquiries professionally.
- Previous experience in hotel or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food service operations and guest services principles.
- Proficiency in using POS systems to facilitate efficient service.
- A customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for hospitality.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while assisting guests effectively.
