We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Support to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences during our busy winter season! As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize seating arrangements.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Support service staff with running food, bussing tables, polishing glassware.
- Assist in training new staff members on host/host duties as needed.
- Uphold high standards of guest services in line with our hospitality values.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality required.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- A team player who can collaborate effectively with other staff members.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for managing reservations and seating arrangements.
- Must hold a valid SIR or obtain prior to start date.
