We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to help in providing excellent dining experiences at Bâton Rouge. As the face of the restaurant, the successful candidate needs to be friendly, have an open disposition, and be a team player who looks for ways to help out other employees whenever needed
Responsibilities
- Greet and make feel welcome the guests
- Monitor the status of each table and provide guests with the menu
- Answer phone calls and take reservations
- Provide report on the daily activities in the facility
- Make guests comfortable while waiting for their orders or table
- Assist in table clearing as occasion demands
- Offer appropriate seating arrangements, and inform guests of any details involving their table and or wait times
- Menu knowledge and the ability to take food orders (take out)
- Ensure sufficient quantity of menus that will be enough to cater for available guests
- Relay number of customers’ with open menus to the expo and kitchen staff
- Make reservation arrangements
- Ensure that work area and tables are clean and organized
- Ensure maintenance of both interior and exterior environment of the restaurant
