We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to guest services, and the ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Assist in coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Answer phone calls promptly, taking reservations or providing information as needed.
- Support the serving staff during busy periods by assisting with food service when necessary.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone etiquette.
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A friendly demeanor with a passion for food service and hospitality.
